In 1995 Chris Page and his wife Ann founded a company called Bytesize Services Ltd, in order to provide first class training in Microsoft Office within Shropshire, Cheshire and the Welsh Borders. Although originally called Bytesize Services, the name of the company was changed in 2003 to Page Communication Ltd to reflect an expansion of training into public speaking, communication and presentation skills. In 2005 the company was awarded the West Midland IT Association’s Quality Mark. In 2007 it won the UK IT Association’s Quality Mark in recognition of both the training and software development work. In 2008 the company became a select supplier for Business Link as it was known then. This lasted until Business Link’s demise following Government re-organisation in 2010. The business continued successfully over the years but Chris and Ann kept the company small with just themselves as employees to retain the personal touch when dealing with their clients. Chris has continued until the present day providing training and programming solutions for local companies. Ann is still working behind the scenes!
Every training course is written to ensure that you get attention to detail and professional, personal service. These courses are delivered throughout Shropshire using up to six training computers, which can be set up at your premises in a suitable meeting room. An alternative option is setting up in a nearby conference facility for you to train off-site. Whatever option you choose you can be assured that the Microsoft Office training is second-to-none. Real-world skills are taught so you can perform your work effectively and efficiently.
There are also unique soft-skills courses based around proven presentation and training techniques. These courses help people to develop confidence and skills for use when speaking in public. The courses can also improve their communication skills when dealing with other people. Public speaking, communication and presentation skills are vital to the success of any company or individual and the workshops have been very successful and many companies in Shropshire have seen a positive effect on their business as a result of doing these courses.
As software developer Chris creates databases and automates Microsoft Office. His software services range from small jobs such as creating automated invoices based around Microsoft Excel, through to large database projects used to managing the carers and clients of a domiciliary company.
