Two Seminar Workshops
Two half-day seminar workshops for users of Microsoft PowerPoint. You can attend one or both sessions. The morning session is for beginners or existing PowerPoint users. The afternoon session is not suitable for beginners unless you also attend the morning session. Bring your own laptop.
We cover PowerPoint 2003, 2007 and 2010.
Session 1 – 09:00 to 12:00 – Presentations with Text, Shapes and Photos
- Working with PowerPoint views
- How to change slide layouts
- See how placeholders can make slides consistent and tidy
- Tips and tricks when drawing and editing shapes
- Incorporate digital photographs and logos on slides
- Create organisational diagrams
- Insert and link to Excel charts
- Learn how themes and templates can make slides look professional
- Understand how master slides help with layouts
Session 2 – 13:00to 16:00 – Presentations for Exhibitions and Education
- Learn to use slides from multiple presentations
- Incorporating data from other files
- Making dynamic slide shows with animation, sound and video
- Tricks to use when running a slide show
- Learn to incorporate Action buttons and hyperlinks to create self-running presentations
- See how to package and send presentations to others
