Two half-day seminar workshops for users of Microsoft PowerPoint. You can attend one or both sessions. The morning session is for beginners or existing PowerPoint users. The afternoon session is not suitable for beginners unless you also attend the morning session. Bring your own laptop.

We will cover PowerPoint 2003, 2007 and 2010.

You will learn to:

Session 1 – 09:00 to 12:00 – Presentations with Text, Shapes and Photos

• Work with PowerPoint views
• Change slide layouts
• Use placeholders can make slides consistent and tidy
• Draw and edit shapes using tips and tricks
• Incorporate digital photographs and logos on slides
• Create organisational diagrams
• Insert and link to Excel charts
• Work with themes and templates to make slides look professional
• Change master slides

Session 2 – 13:00to 16:00 – Presentations for Education and Exhibitions

• Uuse slides from multiple presentations
• Incorporate data from other files
• Make dynamic slide shows with animation, sound and video
• Use various tricks to use when running a slide show
• Incorporate Action buttons and hyperlinks to create self-running presentations
• Package and send presentations to others
