About Page Communication Ltd
Chris Page left the Royal Air Force in 1995 after a career which included working as an Instructor at the Air Traffic Training School, Project Manager for a PC-based air traffic training tool, and support officer for users at RAF Shawbury. He founded the company as Bytesize Services Ltd in 1995 to provide first class training in Microsoft Office within Shropshire, Cheshire and the Welsh Borders. In 2003 the name of the company was changed to Page Communication Ltd to reflect an expansion of training into public speaking and presentation (communication) skills.
Since then the business has grown yet Chris still provides Microsoft Office training, either on a one-to-one basis or to small groups of generally up to 6 people.
Training
Our training in Microsoft Office covers all versions including Office 2000, Office XP, Office 2003 and the new Office 2007. Every course is written personally by Chris. He believes that a great deal of commercially available courseware is poorly written, or even factually incorrect. So our training is provided by the course author himself - where else can you get that attention to detail and professional, personal service? All our courses are instructor-led by Chris with small groups to ensure you get the best from the course.
Not content with just creating the training courses, Chris delivers these courses throughout Shropshire, Cheshire and the Welsh Borders using up to six Page Communication training computers. This means that he can set up a training room at your premises using our computers. Alternatively, he is happy to use your computers if you wish.
Another option is that we hold scheduled courses from time-to-time in Shrewsbury and Telford. Whatever option you choose you can be assured that our Microsoft Office training is second-to-none. That is why our customers return to us whenever they have a Microsoft Office training requirement.
Chris has also created some unique soft-skills courses based around his proven presentation and training techniques. These courses help people to develop confidence and skills for use when speaking in public. The courses can also improve their communication skills when dealing with other people. Public speaking and presentation skills are vital to the success of any company or individual and our public speaking workshops have been very successful and many companies in Shropshire, Cheshire and the Welsh Borders have seen a positive effect on their bottom line as a result of doing these courses.
Software Development
In addition to the training Chris also develops software for our customers, and works as a database troubleshooter. Our software development services range from small jobs such as creating automated invoices based around Microsoft Excel, through to large database projects used to managing the carers and clients of a domiciliary company.
Meet the Team
Chris Page
Technical Director Chris Page is a specialist in personal computers and Microsoft products. He is a Full Member of the Institute of Information Technology Training and follows their TAP assessed guidelines for writing all of his courses.
He is conversant with PC hardware troubleshooting, Windows operating systems, Visual Basic, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and Visual C++, and a wide range of Microsoft applications.
Chris's hobbies are sailing, amateur dramatics and playing the drums.
Ann Page
Ann Page, Chris’s wife and business partner, has been an integral part of the company since its formation. Ann holds a Degree in Business Enterprise and with her background in accounts, office management and marketing, deals with all the day-to-day running of the office and dealing with client requests.
